Mastering the art of data analysis and storytelling.This four-year honours degree will provide students with a well-rounded, multidisciplinary education to enable them to deliver analytics and data management services using industry-recognized tools. Graduates will have the required foundational skills and acumen in business, programming, data management, analysis and communication to support many different areas of the economy, including business, sports, the financial sector, media, healthcare, manufacturing and supply chain among others, directly out of school. Program Highlights Focus on understanding how to use and apply data for business decision making Gain hands-on experience with 420 hours of Work Integrated Learning Apply skills and learning in a capstone course/project Participate in the Higher Education Analytics Data (HEAD) Competition Earn an honours-level degree with the option to pursue further education at graduate school Data analytics is a field that is currently experiencing fast employment growth
Applicants with international transcripts must provide: Proof of the subject-specific requirements equivalent to the Ontario Secondary School Diploma in the Academic column above. Assessment and authentication of their documents by a recognized credential assessment service as determined by the College. Proof of English proficiency by submitting evidence of either: IELTS – International English Language Testing Service or - overall band of 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in each band; or TOEFL – Internet-based (iBT) – overall 90, with the minimum in each component: Reading: 22; Listening: 22; Speaking:22; Writing: 24
