Program Description

Our Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in electrical engineering is Central Ontario’s only professional engineering degree program accredited by the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board (CEAB). This unique program gives you the chance to graduate with a professional degree and a technology diploma in just four years. You’ll gain hands-on skills and advanced technical knowledge to prepare you to become a professional engineer. An optional 16-month co-op is available.

Admission Requirements

Ontario high school students: Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent with a minimum of six Grade 12 U or M courses including: ENG4U (English) Advanced Functions (MHF4U)(min. 60%) Physics (SPH4U) Chemistry (SCH4U) Two additional Grade 12 U or M credits; Calculus and Vectors (MCV4U) is strongly recommended; one additional credit in Math, Science or Technological Education at 12 U or M is recommended A minimum final average, based on the best six Grade 12 U or M courses, of 70% is required.
