Program Description

This program presents great career opportunities for those who are creative, intuitive, disciplined, problem solvers with above average analytical and communication skills. Students will design and present marketing plans, develop their own online brands, practice video marketing and participate in a simulated agency. Graduates will be prepared for leadership roles and careers in digital marketing, advertising, brand development, selling and online marketing. Instructors are experts in their disciplines and use interactive approaches to enrich the learning environment. The program provides marketable skills, validated by ongoing input from an advisory committee of marketing experts. The 3-year Marketing program has one of the highest direct employment rates in the College. Conestoga College is an Accredited Partner of the Canadian Professional Sales Association (CPSA). This program is accredited by the CPSA Institute as providing all 35 hours of pre-requisite education toward the Certified Sales Associate designation, the first level of the Graduated Certification Framework. Students successfully completing this program are eligible for their Sales Certificate from the CPSA Institute.

Admission Requirements

Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), or equivalent, or 19 years of age or older with mature student status (See Mature Student definition for details.) Grade 12 compulsory English, C (min 60%) or U (min 50%), or equivalent, OR Conestoga College Preparatory Communications (COMM1250) (min 60%) , or equivalent Grade 12 Mathematics, C (min 55%) or U (min 50%), or equivalent, OR Conestoga College Preparatory Mathematics (MATH1375) min 55%
