Program Description

Cooking is more than a passion. It is a creative outlet.In this one-year co-op program, you will learn the cutting-edge skills necessary to thrive in the high growth culinary industry.Through live-action demonstrations, lectures, and immersive hands-on practice, students will be provided with the solid foundational skills of classic and emerging culinary trends and techniques – all in an environment that encourages creativity and collaboration.Our Culinary Skills program offers the beneficial opportunity of a four-month paid co-op work term. Co-op education provides students with a real-life working experience as well as the chance to network with community partners in varying food services.Let us help make all your culinary dreams come true.

Admission Requirements

Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), or equivalent, or 19 years of age or older with mature student status (See Mature Student definition for details.) Grade 12 compulsory English, C or U, or equivalent, OR Conestoga College Preparatory Communications (COMM1250), or equivalent
