Gain the technical skills and practical field experience to identify, measure, and record environmental variables within the air, water, soil and living organisms. This program prepares you to perform appropriate sampling, use state-of-the-art equipment, and assist in the remediation and long-term evaluation and monitoring of contaminated ecosystems. The program will prepare you to work on a variety of projects related to climate change issues, water conservation and management, and other sustainability issues. Throughout the program, you will also build your knowledge of pertinent environmental regulations and policies.
For graduates of the new curriculum (OSS): Ontario Secondary School Diploma (30 credits) or equivalent or mature student status, including: Any grade 12 English (C) or (U) Any grade 11 mathematics (C), (U), or (M) Recommended Any grade 11 chemistry (U) or grade 12 chemistry (U) or (C) or any grade 11 biology (U) or (C) or grade 12 biology (U)
